I think T/S will have to upgrade the transmission in some way. Maybe harden the gears and improve the synchros? Even at stock torque levels I have to baby 2nd gear, and 5th is getting notchy. I want to do a fluid change soon and see what that does. But I’m nervous about which brand to choose.
It would be awesome if it easily swapped into the 1st gen! Especially for you guys with more power. Are there any common transmission swaps? Like from the STI or something?
