The lfx36 is a bit overkill and costs almost a hundred more and also 1-2lbs heavier. Idk why everyone is using it or including it in their kits. I know more cca might help in battery longevity and less strain...but still...it's +$100 and +1-2lbs more!
21, 24...heck, even the 27..are the better choices imo.

We include the 36 in the kit because it has the largest capacity. Don't be fooled by Shorai's marketing, the 36 does not mean it's 36 amp hours. The 36 is 12 amp hours, so the 27 would be about 9 amp hours, and it goes down from there. We just wanted to make sure our customers would have the longest duration when the car is sitting because it's such a small battery.
