Well, here is where I think some of the misunderstandings occur.
All car enthusiasts are not necessarily manual enthusiasts - which is fine. But all manual enthusiasts are car enthusiasts and the manual is the "but for" reason they would rule-in, or rule-out, any particular car for potential ownership.
