Likely stopped selling because it's disruptive and adds unnecessary noise pollution for something that provides zero functional benefits to the car. It's one thing to have pops and bangs with an anti-lag setup for turbocharged cars but intentionally adding this to an NA car = attention whore.
Many cities are already handing out tickets for exhausts that are too loud last thing they need are more cars on the road that intentionally add pops and bangs that could potentially startle/trigger ptsd on other people on the road.
