Then you'll be happy not buying one. I love the controller, the online service, the accessibility, the continued use of my current account, the integration with my TV, the ability to control my cable box, the fact I can control everything with voice and hand commands, the ability to quickly switch or multitask with games, apps, and TV. It's really a great package. And when you get over the fact that most people buying this have probably had steady 24/7 internet for the past decade, it's an excellent buy. If all you want is a box that plays games, the PS4 will be excellent at that. I love the fact that XBO will be an entertainment center that happens to also play a boat load of excellent games with an excellent controller on the console world's best online network.
Also, if I ever did need internet, my rooted RAZR MAXX also has no issues serving as a wifi hotspot for my Nexus 7 tablet using its grandfathered unlimited 4G data plan, so an XBOX ONE should be no sweat. Maybe those advocating for Sony are Apple people?
