MS doing DNA analysis through the Kinect or something to determine who is a family member and who is a friend?

Having only 1 "family" member being able to play online with you at any one time out of the 10 "family" members you have prevents "Team" based gaming. Therefore your other friends/family will still have to buy a download/disc in order to join the party. So, there is no idea of having to "only buy one game" for playing with 4 friends.

This is possible because it would meet the 1 person on at the same time as you.

Fixed, as you can't play with more than 1 at the same time.

In either case, it does not give you the "I only have to buy one disc" ability, because the purpose of playing MULTI-player is to play with a group of people, not just 1.
