If you're using camber bolts, these will change the distance to the perch. Using a bolt in the lower hole gives just a smidge more clearance as opposed to using the top hole. Probaby just a couple of mm, but that can make all the difference.

I'm going off of fitment of my 17x8s (+48) with 225. Tire is almost rubbing the perch, but with an 18, I think the rim itself will be in that area.

These guys are running 18x9.5 +30 with 265s, originally this was on stock suspension and camber bolts in the lower holes, then they went to lowering springs (MachV ~1"). They said they had minimal rubbing, which I think was fixed with more negative camber.
