I have a similar, but not so dramatic blemish I've just covered with touch up paint for the time being.
4 coats of paint and clear? or?

hard to explain on text. but when doing a professional blend. you pic a larger area than the damaged area. ln this case after doing the repair wet sand with high grit 1500-2000 uniformly. like up to the headlight, fender to bumper and maybe all the what to the mouth of bumper then tape on body meeting with the body and hood. then mask off entire vehicle. dust several coats on the damaged are do not get color further on to "good" areas as much as possible first two coats on the primer only. then two more light coats going passed original primered area. then when doing clear start by clearing areas that received color. then last coat to edges and slightly beyond your blend area.
I should try a real diy in next time I get a bumper repair
