tires make a massive difference in 0-60 times and the 86 are coming with Prius low resistance tires stock. I do believe the type s came with way better tires than these MPG boosting ones
the Type-S also made 210 HP in that year with the upgrades it received and from all the reviews on that year RSX Type-S none of them state 0-60 of 6secs other than wiki most range from 6.5 to 6.7. If the guys at RSX club were running 6 flat I would believe the tires have been changed or real abusive launch with quick counting and no Mississippi in between
