It's funny, I have a request in at the shop that serviced this watch, that if any stainless Omega with sub-seconds comes in on consignment, they will call me first.
This is the front side of the movement pic. I don't know much beyond it's a Gruen, the movement is marked 422, and it's somewhere around late 1940s to early-mid 1950s. I originally thought 60s, but I learned that Gruen was done by 1958(?).
I just bought it because I like sub-seconds. And it was cheap. However service is expensive, hence me looking into watchmaking. They did regulate it down to ~+8sec/day though, which is pretty damn good (~1min fast/week).
