When I quote your post, all I see is:

You need to have the entire URL in there, which means you can't add pics from a local source. Easiest way to get them up is to put it on
imgur.com, and get the direct link from it once it's uploaded. You don't need an account to use imgur, but it's useful if you think you might want to link to the images again. Alternately you could use their BBCode link, which includes the IMG tags. Then you'd put it in your post like:
