The 2000 is to get the paint to stick. Just prep. You are sanding the clear lights until they look a little foggy. Make sure it is uniform and all over (even edges), then spray. The final product will be clear. When the color is done take it to a body shop. In all honesty you won't even have to color sand for it to look good (or at least mine didn't really need to be) but my shop did it anyway.
