Galaxy Blue actually does look really good in the sun.
I personally chose dark gray (and wingless) because I like the more subdued colors and I don't like the attention on the road unless it's from a fellow enthusiast. Also, grays and earth tones look cleaner for longer vs white/black. Surprisingly, black can often look dirty more quickly because it has no inherent color; you only see reflections, and without sharp reflections, it looks dingy.
My bike on the other hand is lime green and loud. Go figure.
