Was planning on just going with RCE Yellow springs but this Tarmac 0 option looks interesting. If my goal was a high performance dd that could provide the final cure for any porsche envy I may still have, would this offer tangible advantages over a Yellow springs & Koni combination? I know coil overs leave more room for larger wheels/tires, and allow for deeper drops, but if I am focused on the "go" and not concerned with the "show"....does it make sense to just go straight for the Tarmac 0 when the time comes?

Thanks,

Greg
Both set ups are very good for a "sport plus" type of guy that DDs their car and wants a little extra fun with a good ride. You don't "need" to drop the car a lot with the Tarmac 0s and with a mild/medium drop I would say the ride is slightly better since you'll have a hair more travel and softer front spring rates. You can get the Yellows + Konis out the door for a little cheaper though.
