I have the same issue randomly as well. During a shift while in boost, the timing gets pulled and I notice a split second decrease in power along with an exhaust note change that sounds like really retarded ignition (only lasts less than half a second), I always thought it was just the normal transition from boost to vacuum to instant boost again, I figured it was just tip-in spark retard to prevent detonation.... maybe one of the tuners can chime in
If I shift and feather the throttle to roll into boost more smoothly, the ignition retard does not happen.
