Done and dusted, thanks to NTT Toyota Barberton.

Any difference - hell yeah.
I found it quite noticably different.
Mid-range torque flat spot is IMO considerably less.
Not totally gone, but a lot better.

Top-end - no difference that I could feel.
I was worried that the timing retardation over 5200rpm would be noticable - but I couldn't feel it.
Maybe a dyno will show something, but for me the top end is still fine.

Bottom line - since it was done, I've done 80kms through the MPU twisties.
If you know the roads - then it was up Saddleback Pass behind Barberton to the Shiyalongubu turnoff, back down to B'ton, then R40 to Nelspruit via Hilltop Pass.
Altitude - 600m-900m

I like.
A great, but new and evolving car is slowly but surely getting very nicely sorted out.

PS: Oh, and hopefully now my direct injectors (and my engine) won't self-destruct if I drive enthusiastically...
