$3000 is probably with a lens. It runs normally around... 2.1kish. I saw it going for 1.6k but I don't have the money atm for that.

Should be careful on craigslist. Some of the lens and bodies are heavily over priced.
I'd recommend Fred Miranda or a brand specific forum (something similar to the canon's brand forum "photography on the net.")
