That having been said, I agree with the posters above. Personally, the maintenance on a Porsche is within what I can afford relatively easily. However, if it weren't, I'd rather have a BRZ and no financial concerns/stress over a Porsche where I was always worrying about how I would pay the next service/maintenance bill.
Then I might have got one, who knows but not a 911. The Cayman is actually better than the 911, funny how Porsche keeps the Cayman right below the 911. They can't have their best "entry" level car overshadowing their flagship. I could probably get an older model Boxster or Cayman but there are so many Porsches here that I like my BRZ and being semi unique. I've been a fan of that classic 60's sport car shape for years. The Shelby Cobra Daytona, Ferrari 250 GTO, 2000GT etc are all similar in shape. I did see a 928 a few years ago, nice car but a total nightmare in the maintenance dept.
