Hyundai is like the Samsung of the automotive world - make a product, steal design ideas from other companies, tack on their homegrown design ideas (usually with disastrous consequences), pack it full of shitty gimmicks at the expense of the consumer (the Galaxy S4 16gb only has 8gb of usable space), crap them out as fast as they can and sell them to the "value conscious" consumer.
Now that Peter Schreyer is design president of both Hyundai and Kia (a recent appointment), we should see a marked improvement in design quality going forward.
