I have never run any form of octane booster/injector cleaner/etc none zero nada zip.
Prior to e-85 tune car was driven on road on california pump and raced on 100 octane unleaded race fuel.
I have used the same e-85 station and check my fuel for contamination.
I get so tired of all the well it must be this or that...
It isnt short chopped fibers had contaminated my fuel tank they are the SAME short chopped fibers found between the pleats in the intank fuel filter.
This has happened after long term e-85 use.
I have no dog in this fight I don't sell ANY product that e-85 might require, or allows the use of e-85 in our cars.
This was discovered only AFTER my new FI tune required the DI side to be close to the max in the amount of fuel it can deliver.
