And most of them don't realize this will allow the tires to grip better than a too-stiff setup--netting quicker times--not to mention giving one more confidence.
I personally like a more compliant (read: softer) setup--as I'm getting my $$ worth out of my hi-po tires, and getting a real feel what the car wants to do.
But let's be real: many that have these C/O setups will never see the track, and if they do, not truly driven @ 10/10ths.
The dampers I have (MCS) weren't one that you sampled--but I'd venture to say (with appropriate spring rates) you'd really like them.
