And I agree those ST Recaros can be a bit tight, I spent a good bit of time in them and they seemed to get a bit more comfy over time which was the opposite of what I expected.. I figured I'd have back pain from them after awhile.
The only truely PAINFUL OEM seat I've ever used are the ones in an 04 Golf R32. Some love them, but I absolutely *hate* those seats.
