I was not a fan of the gearbox in the WRX in the non-STI version (STI WRX was a much better gearbox). The WRX also felt much heavier to me (which it is). Of course almost every car feels heavy next to the twins.
The other thing for me (which is clearly opinionated) is I just don't love the styling of the WRX. But this is a Suabaru thing, I have never been a fan of their exterior designs (love the BRZ, but that is more Toyota than Subaru).
