255 folder limitation, not nested, flat, directory level deep only.

e.g. folder setup, each folder having a typical number of tracks in each (but with long filenames in some cases)

interesting.. it may be a player limitation not just a file ssystem constraint.

I guess I still don't see a reason why we would need an organizational method/paradigm that would cause us to use 256+ subfolders. Only thing is if you really want to just listen to music per album. Though you'd be spending too much time skipping songs per album to find the one you want to listen.

It would definitely be a limitation of the headunit and not your platform.
