F1 is single clutch sequential, as is all other race cars these days (dual clutch is unnecessarily complicated and has weight penalty).
but you're right about the FRS' slushbox; just a torque converter that can be manually shifted.
Had they offered a twin clutch "auto", i would have gotten that over the manual.
