For me, I find the whole push-button start thing useless unless the system allows me to simply leave my keys in my pocket and start the car with the button when in proximity. Otherwise, what's the point? Why go through 80% of the motion by pulling out your keys, putting it in the ignition, turning the key, and THEN stop to push a button elsewhere...?
