Personally, I think one of these dealerships that have never heard about the 10 Series is actually your best bet. If they did know about it, it would probably be because somebody has already beat you to the punch.
I recommend taking a smartphone to the dealership, show them the 10 Series on the Scion website, and have cash in hand for a deposit. Let them know you are serious, and I'm sure they will want to sell you the car.
I get the feeling that people are just giving up for no good reason when the dealer doesn't know anything about the 10 Series yet. Don't give up! Inform them, and let them know you mean business.

Just did it today, non of the salesmen knew about the 10 series, got them to go to the manager and then told me they have 1 coming in the next month or so, told them I wanted it and left all my info. Didn't even have to put a deposit... probably cause I borrowed my father's M3 just to get some leverage... lol
