I totally get the budget you are dealing with. I respect it, as I have been in the same spot. The whole point of this forum is that everyone has different views and wants for the car. I felt like I was being put into an uncomfortable box, and being portrayed as some snob who was looking to jack up the prices for the rest of the group. Maybe that wasn't the intent, but it sure felt like it. Honestly, I sincerely hope the premium BRZ comes with everything you want for $23,999

Naw Zgrinch you're a good member and I say a damn awesome parent, kudos on helping your kids. I grew up in a place where I was seen as a product of poor parenting and was told I belong in a reject bin. I got to where I am today with little help, But that's society for you. stuff happens you move on.
Now on the topic of the car thing, I think it's being in the wrong place at the wrong time, because if I recall and I watch the forums often, they were, they like veterans haters hellafail etc. Were flaming people who(is the SCION must die mob) wanted to jack up the price with their wants and not pay for it. and you appeared to try to be a resonable voice but well you know what happened.
Those people out weight the people that will pay for it such as yourself, unfortunately that puts you into the small percentage, but I wouldn't feel bad I think your with the good crowd. That's how I see it at least.
as for the Scion must die mob well.. they're still going at it in the forum above. Tuff I say
