I know this isn't exactly relevant but some tv show pitted bike vs cop. It was some high performance bike against a confiscated Vette turned cop car. The corvette ended up winning in the end, but there was not real traffic. So not too surprised the bike had lost by few seconds.

Trojan_SC said, cops can call ahead and add more to chase and what's not to stop them from bumping you off the bike? Simple tap then smash.. you and the bike are toast. Unless you know what you're doing and planned ahead (again not condoning this).
