If you are buying wheels and they already have 235/45R17, (I think is what you're asking) they will fit although they are taller, and it will alter your gearing by 2.8% (you will be travelling 2.8% faster than your indicated speed). But it will affect your acceleration more because of the gearing, which is not a good thing (unless you don't care about it). But they will fit and not rub.
Better tire size would be 245/40R17 which is almost exactly same as stock.

thanks for the info! i might go that route, however i thought 245 will stick out of the fender well too much in the front on stock height? i noticed my rears have a little bit more space to fit a wider tire so thats why i went with the 245 in the rears. also, whats the reason people go lower profile in the rears by 5mm than in the front and not the same profile for front and rears? thanks!
