- 1957 Chevy BelAir with a Rocket425 engine. My Dad's dirt track car. Used to drive it when I was 12 on a closed track. I'm pretty sure he ran moonshine in it too, but have no proof!

- 1969 puke Yellow Corvair. The car I learned to drive a stick in on country roads in KY visiting my Grandmother (the owner). They had a matching color Ford F150 my Grandfather drove with 3 on the tree.
- 1965 Dodge Polara with a push button automatic transmission. First car I ever paid for myself. $300 sold it for $450 two years later. Had a lot of fun in that boat in high school
- 1983 Honda Silverwing GL650. The perfect sized touring bike. Drove it all over the Southeast, sometimes 12 hour days. Honda should have never converted this to a scooter.
- 1983 Camaro Z28 with aftermarket Targa top. I thought I was a rock star.
- 1985 Toyota MR2. My first 1st86 experience since I bought one of the first in the US. Don't need to say more about that car.
- 1989 and 2001 Chevy Astro. Honestly one of the best family cars Chevy ever built. Between them I drove enough miles to literally get to the Moon and back with almost no issues. Nearly every family travel memory I have with my wife/children happened one of these two cars.

We're on the same page. I have so many memories of sleeping on the middle bench of my parent's Astro van as the family drove all over the US on vacation and breaks.
My cars in no particular order
1985 Toyota MR2 - rusted through with 200k+ miles on the clock. I laughed every single time I drove it.
1999 Mazda Miata - my daily for several years during my undergrad. It made maybe 100whp? But even that's a stretch. I'd purposely go out of my way to find the curviest road to drive where ever I was going. Also my first convertible and turned me into a believer. And the first car I felt like I could beat on for hours and still drive home without getting stranded.
197x VW Bug - Nothing worked, it was completely rusted, and smelled of gasoline in the cabin. Such a riot to try and keep up with traffic or go fishing for the next gear.
1998 Honda VFR800 - I have the sixth generation now but I'll always remember the fifth gen. It was the first motorcycle I could eat up several hundreds of miles in a day and then do the same thing the following day. Motorcycle road trips became a norm after this and I found my favorite category - sport touring.
2004 Porsche 911 - Pop's track toy. I had impressionable experiences with 911's growing up but until he got his I'd never driven one. The sound, the sight, the smell(!), the feel. Unmistakable and completely unique. Most challenging car I've driven and for that reason: fun! She's a femme fatale. I imagine an older air cooled 911 is this amplified.
