My choice was between the FR-S and a Civic Si as well. I test drove the FR-S first, and after that, the Civic was just soulless. Driving it felt like taking grandma to the hairdresser. It was more comfortable and well apportioned on the inside, but dang, you see a lot of them on the road. And an Si doesn't look much different from any other Civic (which, btw, my 17 y/o daughter drives one). I've only ever seen 1 other FR-S and one BRZ on the roads around here.
So FR-S it is. It was surprisingly hard to find a manual in a color I liked.
