Agreed. If you think of it from a manufacturing perspective, it's actually very smart to offer both. If people can't or don't want to drive MT it does not inhibit sales and vice versa. I like it as long as the AT is performance oriented like this one and doesn't ruin the car. That is clearly the case here, this AT is quite brilliant if you give it a chance and drive it. So from Toyota/Subaru perspective, it just makes sense, they are selling like hotcakes and there is no limitation for market segments based on transmission options.
