Go figure.

I'm using the same with a 16GB microSD. Don't know why, but it's spotty on recognizing it. Generally, it works if it's plugged in when I start the car, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it takes minutes to recognize it . . .
I have it formatted in FAT32, there are an awful lot of subfolders (artist/album) on there, as well as old android backups I'm ready to delete. I just don't know why sometimes it works and others it's unavailable.
Either way though, it's light years ahead of the media center USB/bluetooth hub on my 2011 Outback; that thing is a royal pain in the ass. Half the time the bluetooth link is in mono until I disconnect and reconnect on my phone.
