I can't say it makes it easier other than from a weight savings standpoint. Typically though when going up in diameter most people go with a wider tire which adds more contact patch which theoretically would make it more difficult to get the tires to break loose.
I am just looking at all options at this point. On some frs with 17 inch rims they look too small vs. some it looks perfect.
