Speaking of book, here is a cool book for young men. Written by Paul O'Donnell, the title is called Man Up! 367 Classic Skills for the Modern Guy, ISBN-10: 157965391X. it covers many basic skills that a men should know, and I could not stop reading because it is so fun and interesting.
Strongly recommended.
