I assume you have what most people do as far as rental reimbursement(30 days?). If it takes longer, be prepared to force your insurance company to cover the additional days if it goes over your 30 allowed.
Your angle for the argument is that you used one of THEIR recommended shops which incidentally was the reason it took so long to even get started. That should be logical enough as long as you are willing to stand your ground, of course assuming the whole job takes more than 30 days.
