My car was running just fine before I upgraded the MAP sensor, and the only real advantage I have gotten from it so far is being able to log accurate boost in EcuTek which I was able to do previously with my AEM Failsafe gauge.
With that being said, I would recommend buying one, and it wouldn't surprise me if LJ includes it in future kits. Just remember that you have to run a modified tune specificially for the new MAP sensor so it isn't just a bolt on affair.

If I don't need to plot boost with the EcuTek cable would you recommend just going with aem failsafe and any EBCS to keep it safe?
