To be clear, I wasn't insinuating that you were trying to do anything underhanded here. That was a general scenario in my list of possible situations.

I have no problem going back to stock to get warranty work for something unrelated to my mods. That, in the spirit of the Magnusson-Moss warranty act, is the logical thing to do.
