Another trick I have learned is to allow the motor to high idle from start until it starts to drop on its own. I also had the low rev dip issue and letting the motor idle until the RPMs dropped solved that issue as well.

Thanks I'll definetely give that all a try, because like yourself it almost border line has not turned over twice now, but then seems to fire up with absolutely no issue the following start up.
