I would just thank the tech for not wasting your time on something that they have to special order that you'll have to wait for till it arrives, then come back to the dealer and wait again to have a working part replaced with the same part. I suggest seeing some direct injection cars and listen, coz they have the same cricket noise under the hood, even a kia with GDI makes the cricket noise. If you dont hear the cricket noise, then bring it to the dealer coz you DI is not working.
