It does come with a shock sensor, but I am not yet sure what that does (I'm thinking it is an alarm of some sort, but I've not tested it yet). There website has this to say on security:

I suppose you could also remove the ignition cylinder completely if you are concerned about that. That would also get rid of the steering wheel lock.
