That is a difference of over 8% in the ST's favor when it comes to power to weight ratios. Also, that is taking crank hp. The BRZ/FRS loses a larger percentage to the ground than the ST due to the differences of FWD and RWD (in the area of an additional 3% power). And we won't even get into talking about the difference in torque....

Im looking at the 0-60 calculator after i put in all the data you provided.
Ford focus st: 6.334 secs
BRZ: 6.252 secs
So it looks like the BRZ will edge out the Ford focus ever so slightly in acceleration
