That sounds like a horrible idea..

As for the "huge difference" in these cars being the ability to transport 4 tires and 1 passenger as compared to the s2000's 4 tires and zero passengers... That's a silly line to draw imho.

As for Cassidy's inability to decide whether to get a S2000 or wait for a BRZ..

Here's how you can come up with a conclusive answer....

Does the thought of a 300HP RWD 4 cylinder import slowly turn into a want/desire and goal/objective?

If so only one of those two will see 300HP without having your "new car" be out of commission for weeks or potentially months at a time.

Would you want a 4 cylinder RWD car that can be as fast as it sounds in the upper RPM range, or are you content with your car screaming around the residential streets in a fit of africanized killer bee rage as it struggles to break the school zone speed limit.
Everyone has different priorities as to what they want out of their car. For me, handling, fun to drive, lightweight, and some practicality are very important.

I still love my S2K to death. I've owned it for more than 6 years, and over the years have transformed it into my ultimate track toy. For me, it's not about all out horsepower or straight line speed, as my engine has been kept completely stock besides intake and exhaust. Since I have owned and tracked my S2k for so long, I am just looking for a new car and a new challenge.

Then the FSR/BRZ comes along. This car has all the features I am looking for; lightweight, balanced, good handling, a fixed roof, and more space for carrying wheels/tires (something I could not do with my S2k). Even though it may not quite match the S2k in terms of pure performance, I still think it has great potential. I know I can still have tons of fun with it for many more years to come.

Here is a recent pic of my S2K.
