That sounds like a horrible idea..
As for the "huge difference" in these cars being the ability to transport 4 tires and 1 passenger as compared to the s2000's 4 tires and zero passengers... That's a silly line to draw imho.
As for Cassidy's inability to decide whether to get a S2000 or wait for a BRZ..
Here's how you can come up with a conclusive answer....
Does the thought of a 300HP RWD 4 cylinder import slowly turn into a want/desire and goal/objective?
If so only one of those two will see 300HP without having your "new car" be out of commission for weeks or potentially months at a time.
Would you want a 4 cylinder RWD car that can be as fast as it sounds in the upper RPM range, or are you content with your car screaming around the residential streets in a fit of africanized killer bee rage as it struggles to break the school zone speed limit.

Driftster, you made a very good point - It is silly to consider things like hauling tires around and carrying a passenger, I'm just trying to look at the big picture. And that's something I would have to do.. carry tires and a passenger. Reliability is a tremendous factor. That SC looks like a nice setup on that s2000, but how does it hold up at 300whp? Do people daily drive them like that and do okay?
And also, don't those SC kits run around $5000? Then another $3,500 or so to get someone to install/tune it?
