If Nissan brings back a good looking SILVIA and bring it to the states, Honda Has another Integra then man... BRZ and FRS have big competitions.

Have to agree with this.
around 2006-2007ish I left the scene myself, as did most of my other friends (90% from the local Subaru club). The loss of good import mags (R.I.P SCC) as well as a crackdown on tuner cars due to idiots street racing or just acting like 'tards everywhere they shouldn't have been, that put a damper on the whole excitement of it all. Oh, and that whole economy thing...
I'm honestly really looking forward to the FT-86 and BRZ because I feel like this will be the start of a revival of the import scene, maybe even the early import scene where people would take their 'slow' rice burners out to the Friday night drags and surprise a few people.
Here's to hoping that this spurs Honda/Nissan/Mazda/Mitsu to make some
affordable, small, light cars that can at least get me excited about heading to Monday night chicken wing meets again. We used to stand in the parking lot until 1-2am sometimes just trading all the same car-related stories.
