Supposing the roof is spot-welded to the frame, I'm imagining drilling through the welds.

I can't think of any other way. Or am I wrong? If anyone has stripped his Toyobaru off the rubber guards or even attempted that roof removal, I'd be glad for advice and/or pics.
AMS did a write up this a few years ago for an evo. You have to cut out the old roof and bond in the CF one using special bonding adhesives.
