Coilovers are much easier to setup. If the bags aren't setup properly, it can actually be back-breakingly stiff. You also have some additional things to consider with bags, but after driving a car with bags, it really changed my perspective on the performance aspect. I'd say it still needs to work out teething issues, but don't discredit the technology.
