I thought about this too - but then again - I, like several others have said - have waited quite a long time for this car. And I'm only looking for a daily driver. It looks like we may see a convertible and possibly a higher performance variant coming later down the road, but neither would do me justice as far as a daily commuter goes. (I intend to have fun with the car on the side) but I won't be disappointed if a turbo model comes out or if they manage to squeeze a little more power out of the current setup.

They have been working on this car for a while, and want it to be right - They're trying to make a good impression. Every car will have its flaws from the get go, but I don't think it will be as flawed as something like the first gen GC was when it was first released.

Toyota/Subaru wants this car to have a good reputation, for many reasons.
