Expensive, yes. Worth it, yes. People blow bigger money on stuff that won't give back as much in terms of performance. Not only are these things great on the track, they still ride well on the street. Very difficult to get BOTH.

6 seconds? That can't be just from the coilvers, otherwise they'd be magic. Increased confidence, better tires, etc. along with the ohlins... I could see that.
